Here's how to determine who the Republicans really want to help - the American consumer or the Oil Companies.
Let's agree to drill in ANWR and offshore with two specific requirements.
1. - not one ounce goes anywhere but to American soil.
2. - the cost will be the cost of extracting it plus 5% profit.
How many Republican would vote for this?
I call this the "Republican Premium".
It's not about the oil. It's about greed.
